How to Use Ringtones ?
Ring tones are a great
way to personalize your mobile phone. Currently ring tones are
only available from this site for the nokia range of phones
that include 3210, 61xx series, 62xx series, 7110, 8110i, 8146i,
8210, 88xx series, 9000 series, 9110i, NK503, NK702. We do not
have ring tones for ericsson or siemens phones although this
may change in the near future.
The Nokia mobile phones shown below, can have ringtones of the
"Nokia 3210" format ("Nokia Composer ringtones")
entered using the key presses on the Taming the Beast free ring
tones page:

How to use the Composer for the Nokia.
To use Composer on your Nokia mobile phone just follow these
steps:
- select Menu
- scroll to Tones and choose select
- scroll to Composer and choose select.
- select an empty tone or an unwanted tune press and hold the
C button (next to Navi key) to clear it. Press select.
- Find the tune you like from Taming the Beast ring tone page
and then key it in. If you make an error simply press clear
screen to start again.
- set the tempo by selecting options and scrolling to tempo
- set the tempo assigned from the phone tunes display page
Now your Nokia phone
tune is complete you can elect to play, name and save, or choose
clear screen and enter another tune.

Notes:
( )= hold appropriate
key until a dot appears in the note.
Commas are used to
separate the notes and are not to be entered into your mobile
phone.
Key pressing the tune
too quickly may not enter the correct notes or miss out any
digits. If a mistake is made the tune will not sound correct.
When in composer the
following keys represent the following codes
1=C
2=D
3=E
4=F
5=G
6=A
7=B
8=Shortens the note duration
9=lengthens the duration
0=insert a duration
*=sets the octave
#denotes a sharp note
pressing and holding a note key shortens the duration by a half
and is represented by a dot.
