Ibrahim Barssi

Ibrahim Barssi

His name is Ibrahim Awad Barssi, born in Sinner, Sudan in 1970. He is an artist specializing in fine art, with productions in oils, acrylic & mixed media, focussing on the coherence of the African rainforests & the Saharan desert as a theme for most his works.

Barssi studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Alexandria, Egypt. He worked as a teacher in Sudan and for several Sudanese newspapers.

He has exhibited his artistic works in solo and group exhibitions. His works have been published in many publications in Sudan, Egypt and Australia. Now lives in Sydney, studying English
at UW S College and continue his studies in Fine Arts. He is works with Survivors of Torture and Trauma (S T A R TTS) as an art teacher He has some works of art in the Australian museums.

The Australian S B S Channel recently documented his experience in Fine Art ..and in the process of displaying the movie in the near future on the Australian TV.
